Starting Over

I have decided to try blogging again. I’d like to delete the earlier posts and just start again.

But, if nothing else, I am too much of a coward to delete them. So, I’ll start over without deleting my past.

If I can figure out how to post pictures, I will show you the ornaments I made for this year. Becca gets an archer, Xander gets a Lego block, Eme gets a karate kid, Meri gets a sleigh, Bryce gets a sailboat and Bill gets a Frog Prince

OKAY, here it is the 7th already, and I am still on entry two. I'm still not sure that blogging is for me.

I have finished stitching the ornaments for my grand daughters. I have designed the one for the oldest grandson, and have an idea about where I am going for the youngest.

I seem to have put all other stitching aside inorder to take care of these 'creative' bursts. I never know when an idea is going to strike.

I purchased some curtains last week, and returned them today. They just didn't work. Things seem to look nicer in the store than at home .. or not as nice sometimes.

I absolutely NEVER thought I would have a blog. But, here I am.

A little about me … I have been married for almost 45 years, I have two children, and four grandchildren. I currently have a dog. There haven't been many times in my life that I didn't have a dog.

I embroider – counted thread – knit, crochet and all kinds of crafty things. But, mostly, I embroider.

My mother traced our family history as far back as she could. Every once in a great while I come up with something to add to it, but I think she found almost all of it. My father's family has a published genealogy which makes his side of the family easy.

Regliously, I don't attend church nearly as often as I wish I did, but when I do go, I consider myself a Methodist with a strong Lutheran background. I went to the Lutheran and Methodist churches as a young child, and as a teen-ager joined the Congregational church.
